From Jan to Dec 2021, a total of 1193 products have obtained the MARA(MOA) license issued by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of P.R.C(MARA) for imported feed and feed additives. In terms of product categories, there are 319 feed additives, 187 single feeds, 72 compound feeds, 8 feed premix, 9 concentrate supplements, 292 cat complete foods, 292 dog complete foods, and 14 pet health products. There are a total of 595 feed products and a total of 598 pet products, which are basically the same. In terms of months, there are 100 products in Jan, 99 products in Feb, 92 products in Mar, 164 products in Apr&May, 135 products in Jun&Jul, 123 products in Aug, 272 products in Sep&Oct, and 208 products in Nov&Dec. Compared with 1258 products last year, the number of products registered this year is basically the same. Compared with 594 products in 2019, 568 products in 2018, and 562 products in 2017, the number of registered feeds and feed additives has increased rapidly since last year. The epidemic has hindered the flow of domestic and foreign personnel, but obviously it has not hindered the pace of foreign companies to explore the Chinese market. The surge in the number of import registrations reflects the confidence of foreign companies in China's economy and market. If foreign feed, feed additives and pet food want to enter the Chinese market, they first need to obtain two qualifications. One is that the product needs the registration license of imported feed and feed additives from MARA, and the other is that the manufacturer obtains the access of the General Administration of Customs of P.R.C(GACC). With these two qualifications, foreign products can enter the Chinese market smoothly.
Recently the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued the No. 482 announcement, announced the latest batch of enterprises and products which have completed the registration on the imported feed list, a total of 98 enterprises and 272 products, Great to have our successful clients on the latest list and be part of the contribution.
