Why Need Access?

According to the "Measures for the Administration of Import and Export Food Safety" 、“Provisions on the Registration and Administration of Overseas Production Enterprises of Imported Food”of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, since January 2022, all companies exporting food to China will need to be admitted.

How To Apply?

According to different food classifications, the registration methods are divided into registration recommended by the competent authority of the country (region) where the overseas production company is located and application for registration by the company.

Food Catalogue Recommended by Competent Authorities and Registration Method:

Meat and meat products,Casing,Aquatic products,Dairy products,Bird's nest and bird's nest products,
Bee products,Eggs and egg products,Edible fats and oils,Wheaten food with fillings,Food grains,
Products of the cereal's milling industry and malt,Fresh and dehydrated vegetables and dried beans,
Seasoning,Nuts and seeds,Dried fruit,Unroasted coffee beans and cocoa beans,
Foods for special dietary uses,Health food.

Food Catalogue Directly Registered by Enterprises and Registration Method:

Beverages,Convenient food,Biscuits,Frozen drinks,Tubers and puffed foods,Confectionery products,
Tea and related products,Liquor and alcoholic beverage,Starch and starch products,Bean products,
Other foods.


Registration Requirements :

(1) The food safety management system of the country (region) where it is located has passed the equivalence assessment and review of the General Administration of Customs;

(2) The establishment is approved by the competent authority of the country (region) where it is located and is under its effective supervision;

(3) Establish an effective food safety and hygiene management and protection system, legally produce and export in the country (region) where it is located, and ensure that the food exported to China meets relevant Chinese laws and regulations and national food safety standards;

 (4) Comply with the relevant inspection and quarantine requirements negotiated by the General Administration of Customs and the competent authority of the country (region) where it is located.
